Haven Williams Memorial 600 Yard Match Results 4-6-2013 by Rick Curtis

Shooters and Friends,
A warm and very sunny day welcomed the shooters in todays Haven Williams Memorial Match at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility; as evidenced by the smell of sunscreen wafting up and down the line! Another condition, a sneaky fish tailing wind, reared it's head early and gave many shooters trouble all day. Some however, like Allan Rosenthal, Rocky Felix, Wayne Ullrich and a dusty old Marine on life support managed to take it all in stride and lead their respective divisions. I think many were able to nail down some solid zero's for this coming Thursdays Berger Southwest Nationals 600 Yard Championship! Full results attached for your viewing pleasure. Big thanks to Jeff Miles and Jim Hahn for helping run the line and pits for us. Also a big tip of the hat to Rex Powers and Mike Dalton for bringing the Wickenburg Rifle Team down to shoot with our group. These kids are our shooting future and with them it will be a bright one indeed.

See you on the line,
Rick Curtis
